Abstract — The adsorption mechanism of corrosion inhibitors prepared from the modified vegetable oil (MGChDTU and MGS) and the water-soluble fraction of vegetable product wastes (FES) was studied. It was found that the inhibitors both chemisorb and physically adsorb at steel to form polymolecular protective layers.
