Abstract — Some peculiarities of the Al–1Sn alloy corrosion in sodium sulfate solution were investigated by applying video-observation in-situ. As a result of the free corrosion the inclusions of almost pure tin were revealed and identified with the use of a scanning electron microscope. The hydrogen evolution occurs just at the inclusions¹.
