Received March 15, 2005 Abstract — By the example of calculating the field of underground currents, caused by cathodic protection of nonuniform pipe system, the procedure of field measurements (aimed at detecting the conductive coupling of an insulated pipe with grounding structures counteracting the protection efficiency) is discussed.
