Received April 18, 2007 Abstract — Anodic dissolution of an electrolytic copper–nickel alloy in 1 M HCl was studied by nonequilibrium electrochemical methods. The dissolution of the alloy began with selective ionization of nickel. Then the rate of the anodic dissolution was limited by nonsteady-state bulk diffusion.
