Karla Marksa 68, Kazan, 420015 Tatarstan, Russia Received July 21, 2004 Abstract — Contact exchange of iron(III) with aluminum metal is studied by using chronopotentiometry, voltammetry, and cyclic voltammetry. Some of its kinetic and other electrochemical characteristics are determined. The statement that the process proceeds in stages (which is proved by the use of methods of formal kinetics) is supported by cyclic voltammograms.
