Received August 27, 2007 Abstract — Anodic dissolution of bivalent metal in binary electrolyte, through positively charged intermediates, is theoretically analyzed. The components’ concentrations and the electrical potential distributions in dif-fusion layer under the intermediate quasireversible decomposition are calculated.
